Mentora - course platform

300 students in. Zero spreadsheets left standing.

Once a school crosses a few hundred students, Google Classroom and a spreadsheet stop being enough - nobody can see who's actually finished a module, and instructors end up chasing homework by hand. This concept shows a real course platform: a catalog, a syllabus per course, progress tracking, and an instructor-friendly dashboard.

The problem: progress nobody can see

A student's actual progress lives in whichever spreadsheet tab an instructor happened to update that week. No single dashboard for "how am I doing," and no easy way for instructors to see who's stalled out on lesson two.

02

What this concept demonstrates

A course catalog with real filtering by category and level, a syllabus view per course, and a student dashboard with a "continue where you left off" carousel, achievement badges, and lesson-by-lesson progress that updates the moment a lesson is marked complete - backed by a real enrollment and progress API, not local state that resets on refresh.

03

Details that survive contact with real students

Ukrainian and Russian both correctly decline lesson counts by grammatical case - "3 уроки" versus "12 уроків" - a detail most platforms get wrong. The dashboard greeting, the instructor names, everything follows the student's chosen language, not just the buttons.

What this could look like for your business

If you're running any kind of cohort- or course-based education - language schools, bootcamps, corporate training - the same pattern applies: students need to see their own progress, and instructors need a dashboard that isn't a spreadsheet nobody trusts anymore.
